WORLD ORGANIZATION OF THE SCOUTING
MOVEMENT
WOSM has requested National Scout Organizations
to encourage Scout stamp issues by their countries on 1 August
2007 as part of the "Scoutings' Sunrise." This day
will mark the the dawn of a new century for Scouting around
the World.
EUROPA
PostEurop, the association of European public postal operators
has announced the Europa theme for 2007 is "100 years
of Scouting (the Scout movement and its history in each country)".
The date of issue of Europa stamps is generally set for 9
May each year on Europe Day. Between 45 to 60 postal agencies
could issue Europa theme Scout stamps.
