Division of the Boy

Learn what each of the parts of the World
Crest mean
and design a simple ceremony to share this knowledge with
a group of Cub Scouts or Webelos |

Find out about Scouting in another
country: What
age levels do they have? What does their Scout badge
look like? What is their promise? What is their
highest rank? Make a display to share what you learned
with others. |

|
Learn about the World
Organization of Scouting Movement (WOSM). Make a display or a verbal presentation to share
what you learned with others. |
|

Earn either the American Culture merit badge
or an Interpreter strip |
|
|
Host an individual or group of foreign students at a
dinner, a meeting or a campout weekend where activities
are planned so that you learn about their country/countries. |
Prepare a list of questions in
advance. Be sure every member of the group has an opportunity
to ask at least one question. |

With a group of Cub Scouts and or Webelos, help plan
and execute an international dinner
|
If this is done at the Pack level,
each Den may design their table(s) to represent a different
country. Decorations could include the nation's flag & map. Samples
of the country's food and songs could also be a part of the
program. |

Participate in an international
Scout jamboree/camporee (either in the US or another country). Share
your experiences with a Cub Scout, Webelos or Boy Scout unit. |
|
|
Host a Scout (or a group of Scouts) from another country
who are on tour in your area. |
|
|
As an individual or with other members of your Troop
take a trip to another country, including a visit to one
of their Scout activity centers and participation in an
activity with one of their Scout units. |
Individuals or groups traveling
abroad should apply for an ‘International Letter of
Introduction’ from the B.S.A. International Division. |

Participate in Jamboree-on-the-Air
(JOTA) or Jamboree-on-the
Internet (JOTI) . Share
your experience with Cub Scouts, Webelos or another Scout
patrol. |
