International Flags
The International
Division has flags of other nations available
for loan to local councils.
Flags are 4 by 6 feet in size and are maintained for each of the
more than 152 nations that have member Scout associations of the
World Organization of the Scout Movement. The international Scouting
flag is also available.
Normally not more than 12 flags are loaned at a time. Borrowing
councils must pay the return shipping costs and insure each flag
for $75 in shipment. The council will be charged for any loss or
damage to flags not covered by shipping insurance. This can range
from $25 to $75 each.
Requests for international flags should include date of use, a
statement specify- ing how the flags will be used, nations preferred,
shipping address, and the name and phone number of contact person.
To reserve flags, contact the International Division four weeks
in advance.
International Exhibit
An International Exhibit Kit is available for loan to local councils
for Scouting shows and other functions.
This professional-looking exhibit is designed for display on an
8-foot-long table. The exhibit panel is approximately 4 feet high
from the tabletop and approximately 6 feet long when set up. A
supply of handouts will be included with the exhibit.
Borrowing councils must pay the return shipping costs and insurance
coverage for $1,000. Requests should include date of use, shipping
address, and name of contact person and phone number.
Make all requests to the International
Division at least four
weeks in advance.
