International Scouting Visitors to Central Florida
Due to the popularity of our local tourist attractions
and our warm climate, the Central Florida Council occasionally
receives requests directly from International Scout units for support
during their extended stay in the area. International
Scouting families also contact us for the opportunity to visit
local Troop, Pack and Den meetings throughout the year. If
your unit is interested in having either a one time visit or hosting
a visiting unit for a several days, please contact the Council's International
Representive. If
there is not an immediate need for hosting, your unit will be placed
on a waiting list, ready for contact when the next request is received.
Coordinated by the International
Division - World
Brotherhood Exchange offers a Boy Scout troop, Venturing crew, Varsity unit
or local councils an opportunity to provide home hospitality and
program activity for a group of Scouts from another nation, followed
by a group of Scouts from the BSA reciprocating the visit for home
hospitality by Scouting families in the other nation.
Please
contact the Council's
International Representative for information
on becoming a part of this program.
