International
accommodations for Scouts are available in Switzerland
and in England. All offer one-day visits also. All
require advance reservations. You can contact your Council's
International Representative or the International
Division for details. (click

Kandersteg
International Scout Center in
the Alps of Switzerland is operated by the European Region
of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. Dormitory
and campsites plus mountain climbing and ski programs
are offered. Think of it as your Troop's "Summer Camp
in Switzerland". Plan on at least a two week visit,
if you can.

Baden-Powell
House, London, England, operated by the Scout
Association of the United Kingdom, offers lodging and meals
in the heart of the city. |

Gilwell
Park, (home of Woodbadge) near London, is
also operated by the Scout Association
of the United Kingdom. It offers both indoor
and campsite lodging facilities plus program activities.
It adjoins the location of the 2007 World Jamboree. |

Brownsea
Island (location of the first 'Scout camp'), Poole
Harbour, Dorset, England, offers limited indoor and campsite
facilities. It is operated by the National Trust. |

Reminder -
You must submit a National Tour Permit AND a Universal
Application well in advance of your trip. BOTH
forms are to be sent to the Council Service Center. After
approval, the forms will be forwarded to the Regional and
National Offices as appropriate.
